What to Expect From Our Fiber Cleaning Process
BEFORE YOUR Fiber Cleaning ServicE
1. Please notify all people residing or working at the cleaning location that there will be hoses and equipment brought into the area for your professional cleaning service.
2. Please do not schedule any other service companies or work to be done in or around the location, especially landscaping personnel, as we will need to open many doors and windows for ventilation.
3. Please remove any personal belongings or loose items from the cleaning area, such as valuables, clothing, blankets, toys, or electronics.
4. Please ensure that we can open doors and windows during your cleaning service. Some spaces do not have that option, so please inform us beforehand so we can provide a solution before our arrival.
5. Please inform us of any chemical sensitivities of anyone residing in the home, as we may need to use only our Green Seal Certified cleaning line of products from Soap-Free Procyon®, which have no scent or residual odors.
6. Please inform us if this is a gated community or if there are special access instructions.
7. Please provide us with a point of contact that can be reached during the scheduled cleaning service time, if the homeowner is unavailable.
8. Please provide parking instructions, if need be, for closest access to the cleaning area.
DURING YOUR Fiber Cleaning service
1. Upon arrival, we will conduct a thorough inspection using a UV detection light to investigate any spots, stains, or potential problem areas. We will also measure any carpet and area rugs and perform a fiber ID test when possible.
2. Please inform us of any pre-existing spots, stains, or soiled areas so we can assess the issues before the cleaning begins. The more info we have, the better chance we have at resolving the issue.
3. Please ensure that no pets or people are in our cleaning area. For safety and liability reasons, we cannot have anyone walking in and out of our work area during our cleaning process.
4. We always provide property protection, using large towels and corner guards to protect the floors and walls in the area.
5. We always pre-vacuum using a special HEPA commercial vacuum to remove as much soil and dirt as possible before your steam cleaning service.
6. We always pre-treat all traffic areas and soiled surfaces before our hot-water extraction portion of our service. If we find any urine, vomit, blood, or feces during our inspection, we must use our specialized products to dislodge as much contamination as possible from the fibers so they can be effectively removed.
7. Green-Seal Certified, Truck-Mounted, Hot-Water Extraction Service using Soap-Free Procyon®. We will clean an area with multiple cleaning and drying passes until the area is as clean and soil-free as possible.
8. We will trim any loose or stray fibers at the transition areas. We also provide additional pill-shaving services for upholstery pieces and fiber-trimming services for cat- or dog-scratched areas where the carpet or rug fibers are blossoming or sprouting above the natural fiber height.
9. We will use turbo air movers (fans) in all carpeted rooms after the cleaning and extraction process is complete. We will also use our turbo air movers to increase the rate of moisture evaporation from any cleaned rugs or furniture.
10. We will perform a final inspection that includes fiber grooming and work area clean-up to complete your premier fiber cleaning service.
AFTER YOUR Fiber Cleaning service
1. Please restrict access to or use of the cleaned items for several hours after completion or until the items are as dry as possible. Most upholstered surfaces will dry within 4 to 8 hours after completion. Most nylon carpets will take 12-24 hours to completely dry. Most wool carpets and rugs will take 24 to 48 hours to completely dry.
2. Please leave doors and windows open until dusk and reopen in the morning if possible. The air movement will increase the rate of evaporation, drying the items faster.
3. We will leave you a free bottle of spotter for your carpet or rugs and shoe covers upon request.
